AI Meeting Translator (the "Extension") provides real-time speech-to-text transcription and translation for online meetings. This policy explains what data the Extension collects and how it is used.

2. Data We Collect

• Speech transcripts — When you start capture, the Extension accesses your microphone and uses your browser's built-in speech recognition (Web Speech API) to convert speech into text. The transcript text is sent to our translation backend to produce translations.
• Authentication credential — To use Pro features, you sign in on our website (www.zsihuo.com) with your email and password. The Extension stores only an authentication token (JWT) locally in your browser. Email and password are collected by the website, not by the Extension.
• IP address — Your IP address is used to determine your region for payment routing and pricing. It is not used to identify you personally.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not record or store any audio. Only recognized text is processed.
• We do not collect browsing history, page titles, or visit times.
• We do not log keystrokes, clicks, mouse movements, or scrolling.
• We do not collect health information or financial/payment information. Payments are processed by third parties (PayPal, PayJS); we never receive your card number.

4. How We Use Data

• Speech transcripts are used solely for punctuation and translation.
• Authentication tokens are used to identify your account and subscription.
• IP address is used solely for region-based pricing and payment routing.

5. Third-Party Services

• Translation backend (www.zsihuo.com) — receives transcript text for translation (may use DeepSeek AI).
• MyMemory (api.mymemory.translated.net) — fallback translation service.
• PayPal / PayJS — payment processing.

6. Data Retention

• Audio is never recorded or stored.
• Transcripts are processed in real time and are not persistently stored by the Extension.
